		<description>Thank you, Paul, for your comment.  However, you have to explain why, when Jesus said, "Baptize all nations," he didn't specify only the adult members of those nations.  Or why Acts said "whole families" rather than just the adults in those families.

Regarding the quote you gave from Mark, it does not follow that everyone who is baptized "believes" is an adult would believe, just that those who both are believed and baptized are saved.  No mention that children should not be baptized.</description>

		<description>Mark 16:16 says, "that He who believes and is baptized shall be saved.  He who believes not shall be condemned." It is obvious that an infant does not have the ability to believe in the first place.  How then can we hold him accountable under these circumstances?  We also see that Jesus was 12 years old when he seemed to understand that he must be about his father's business.  This would indicate a good age to consider accountability I think.  Children are obviously innocent and not accountable at this age even if they are born into sin.</description>
