Also, as any breeder or vet will confirm, canine genitalia looks nothing like human genitalia. I don't know what the deal with that picture is but I am sure it is not an actual photo of the dog's true genitalia. Anyway, if you turn your head to the right it looks more like the bend of his leg. The darker section that you might call the "base of the shaft" is consistent with the color of a paw, which tends to be darker than the rest of the leg for these dogs. Also look at the proportion of that thing - a lego man might be so equipped but for most human "it" would be thinner and longer with a less pronounced head. I guess Snopes is going to have the last word on this, but for now I'd class this alongside backwards messages on Ozzy Osbourne records - 'truth' only to those willing to believe it. I suggest you get out a good old fashioned magnifying glass and look again. This appendage has no hair nor does it have nails or a paw and not only that this dog would not have a hind paw as large as this appendage. It is out of proportion for this breed in all ways!. How many paws do you see that get larger at the end and have a slight twist. With a magnifying glass you can see it is coming out from under the dogs hind leg not a part of it. I do agree with Ikea that the picture was not tampered I would suggest the new realistic adult toys that are on the market. Take a look using a magnifying glass.
