Hello Mehrad:

Two possibilities -

1) There is a scratch or other imperfection on your disc
2) The Disc has extra encryption (eg Sony's ARccOS) that cannot be read by DVDDecrypter

For #1 the solution could be as easy as using a disc cleaning kit
For #2 you will need a more up-to-date DVD Ripper. DVDFab is a popular choice at the moment.

Thanks alot for this site.

When using DVDDecrypter, I got to the step where I was to wait for the progress bar to complete, and my reading rate at first reached up to 2.3x for the first percent, but straight after 1% of completion the rate jumped down to zero. And then after it went down to zero the read errors read : "Read Errors: 0 (15 retries)" and the software kept trying to retry. So my progress only reached one percent, and cannot go any further. My drive should be capable of accomplishing this but for some reason it is not. (In DVDDecrypter I went to Tools>Drive>Cababilities and everything said yes)

I was hoping you could help me out. Thanks for your time.
